According to a recent Nation’s Restaurant News article, Claudia San Pedro has been named President of Sonic Corp. after serving as CFO since 2015 and starting with the company as treasurer 12 years ago. San Pedro will be succeeded by Corey Horsch as the chief financial officer.

“Claudia is a highly skilled leader with an eye for developing talent, as evidenced by our ability to seamlessly transition Corey into the CFO role,” J. Clifford Hudson, Sonic’s CEO, said. “Claudia’s focus on building relationships, business acumen and strategic mindset position the company well for future growth.”

As President, San Pedro will be in charge of supply chain, franchise sales and development, franchisee relations and business planning. With her background and experience, she will also oversee the finance function.
