Nation's Restaurant News: Taco Bell to launch Naked Egg Tacos

Taco Bell is set to launch a new breakfast offering. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the chain has unveiled plans for Naked Egg Tacos, an item that features a shell made out of a fried egg. The tacos will be available nationwide at the end of August.

“The Naked Egg Taco strips down the traditional breakfast taco, allowing us to deliver a new flavor experience in every single bite,” said Taco Bell's chief food innovation officer, Liz Matthews.

The brand is also in the process of testing out a Firecracker Burrito in select markets. This new product features 'popping spices' and will be available in two varieties: Popping Spicy and Popping Cheesy.
