According to the article, Nichols currently manages Smoothie King locations in Kansas City and jumped at the chance to own his own.

Said Nichols, &ldquo;I had an opportunity to become a franchisee and own my own. &ldquo;I know St. Joe is trending toward being a healthier town. So this kind of follows that trend in following a healthier lifestyle.&rdquo;
