California Tortilla Director of Franchise Development Aaron Goldberg is confident in the fast casual Mexican restaurant concept’s expansion throughout New Jersey for a number of reasons. <a href="https://njbiz.com/california-tortilla-plans-nj-expansion-with-20-locations/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=nj-biz-california-tortilla-plans-new-jersey-expansion-with-20-locations-2711371" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">In a recent interview with NJ BIZ</a>, Goldberg detailed why the New Jersey market is appealing for Cal Tort, highlighting its demographic similarities to some of the brand’s most&nbsp; successful markets in its native Washington, D.C. area.“[New Jersey has] many markets that look like our best-performing markets, Cherry Hill, Passaic and Bergen County specfically. It’s a great suburban play,” Goldberg told NJ BIZ. “We look for higher-income areas with families, and we also have an urban millennial play.
