No Limit Agency was created in March 2008, when founder Nick Powills saw an opportunity within the agency world to deliver better relationships, service, and results while consistently accomplishing and exceeding clients’ expectations. Today, No Limit Agency has earned national recognition within the Inc. 5000, The Agency Post’s Agency 100, and was named a Top Illinois Company by maintaining a high level of professionalism in the eyes of its clients, the media, the industry and the public. Based in Chicago’s River North, its team is comprised of 25 employees and represents 50 brands.
“Our foundation was built on the concern that communications agencies rarely strive to really produce for their clients,” said Nick Powills, Chief Brand Strategist and Founder. “Lack of detail, precision and execution provided an “in” for an agency that was willing to throw away the PR agency reference and replace it with “Progressive Communications Agency.”
No Limit is a dynamic communications agency that establishes and elevates brands by delivering their message to the masses with fresh thinking and boundless creativity. Just spend an afternoon in their Chicago office and you will meet writers, strategists, design gurus, social media experts and those have mastered the art of the pitch. No Limit is an idea incubator where compelling stories are uncovered, strategies are carefully crafted and brands are humanized.
“We don’t just promise results, our team follows through. We thrive on producing above and beyond – shattering expectations over time,” said Powills. “Our structure provides strategy, brainstorms, innovation and results – thus creating awareness that will help our clients reach their development goals.”
While many of No Limit Agency’s clients are franchise brands, the agency also represents Chicago, consumer, technology and restaurant industry brands. No Limit secures more quality media placements per client than perhaps any other agency in the world by following one simple technology shift. Nearly all PR agencies focus on the “blast pitch,” in which their publicists take a news release and blast email it to as many reporters as is humanly possible. Although this tactic may produce some shotgun-like results, there is no precision. No Limit tossed this antiquated methodology to the side and implemented a relationship-focused practice.
“We call reporters first and then, only if interested, send a press release or email pitch. This way, we are in control,” said Powills. “This practice has helped create thousands of media contacts throughout the world and has resulted in strong and meaningful placements for our clients.”
No Limit continues to grow and is an innovator in the industry. In 2015, No Limit is launching a new technology tool that combines all forms of communication, giving brands the best chance of getting in front of their most influential buyers.
