NPC International has dramatically restructured its leadership, according to an <a href="http://www.nrn.com/quick-service/npc-restructures-names-steve-layt-head-pizza-hut-division?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=nrn-npc-restructures-names-steve-layt-to-head-pizza-hut-division-2707017" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">article on Nation&rsquo;s Restaurant News</a>.

The largest domestic franchisee for both Wendy&rsquo;s and Pizza Hut has separated its brand holdings into two divisions and established new board and CEO roles for each.

Previous CEO Jim Schwartz will transition into a chairman role, and previous CFO Troy Cook will become vice chairman of the company.&nbsp; Steve Layt, a QSR-industry veteran who joined NPC in April, will step into a new president and CEO role for the company&rsquo;s Pizza Hut division. The company has launched a search to fill the same role for its Wendy&rsquo;s division.

&ldquo;I am honored to be working alongside Jim and Troy and grateful for the strong foundation they have created for NPC&rsquo;s brands over the last two decades,&rdquo; Layt said in a statement.

Based in Overland Park, Kansas, NPC International currently operates roughly 1,600 restaurants.
