<a href="http://www.nrn.com/people/papa-murphy-s-names-nik-rupp-cfo?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=nrn-papa-murphys-names-nik-rupp-cfo-2706074" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Nation&rsquo;s Restaurant News is reporting</a> that Papa Murphy&rsquo;s Holdings Inc. has appointed Nik Rupp as the company&rsquo;s new chief financial officer. Rupp will take over the role previously held by Mark Hutchens starting April 9, 2018.

Rupp comes to Papa Murphy&rsquo;s from Specialized Bicycle Components, where he served as CFO. Hutchens, who has served as the holding company&rsquo;s CFO since 2014, will stay on as COO, a role he has occupied for the past seven months. Last month, Papa Murphy&rsquo;s announced the appointment of Laura Szeliga as Chief Marketing Officer.

In a statement regarding the decision, Weldon Spangler, Papa Murphy&rsquo;s CEO, said, &ldquo;I am very pleased to welcome Nik to Papa Murphy&rsquo;s. His financial leadership and strategic planning expertise will add significant value to our entire team as we continue to execute our long-term initiatives and build brand momentum. We are also fortunate to have Mark&rsquo;s breadth of financial acumen and experience dedicated to our franchise owners&rsquo; profitability moving forward in his role as chief operating officer.&rdquo;
