NRN: Top 10 food and beverage trends at the 2015 NRA Show
GMOs, gluten and more mark the current trends in food and beverage.
Nation’s Restaurant News recently spotlighted a number of trends seen at this year’s National Restaurant Association show in Chicago.
One popular find at many displays was the claim that food items were free of genetically modified organisms.
Meanwhile, gluten-free food continued its popularity.
“’Gluten free’” has been trendy for several years now, but the offerings have improved, with tastier cakes and breads, and gluten-free flours that can be replaced one-for-one with wheat flour,” NRN stated.
