Onalaska Holmen Courier-Life: Holmen couple named to pizza Hall of Fame

Phil and Denise Downing were recently inducted into the Toppers Pizza* Hall of Fame at the recent Toppers National Convention. Scott Iversen, Toppers’ vice president of marking, and the Downings spoke with the Onalaska Holmen Courier-Life about the induction.

“Phil is on our Franchise Advisory Committee and Denise is on our Marketing Advisory Board,” Iversen said. “They’re just great people and masters of our brand.”

The article also mentions that the Downings are not slowing down anytime soon, with plans to open six more locations in Iowa City, Cedar Falls, Waterloo and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Denise made it clear that the secret to their success is just how much fun it has been working with Toppers. She told the Onalaska Holmen Courier-Life, “… the core values and mission is spot on in my opinion. I like working for a company that has the same values as I do.”
