Signal 88 Security business-owner Andrew Ralph&nbsp;was&nbsp;recently-named City of Ottawa 2017 Immigrant Entrepreneur of the Year.&nbsp;During his two-year tenure with <a href="http://www.signal88franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=ottawa-business-journal-immigrant-entrepreneur-award-signal-88s-andrew-ralph-secures-future-for-newcomers-2705042" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Signal 88 Security</a>,&nbsp;Ralph regularly hires immigrants and youth workers sometimes on a permanent basis or to supplement them studying throughout Ottawa. Andrew has hired 15 immigrants, 12 citizens and five youth workers looking to establish themselves in the community. Signal 88 Security provides immigrants with training and the opportunity to learn skills that will serve them well as they adapt to their new home. 
 
&ldquo;I&rsquo;m moving to a country, going to go into a new community where I don&rsquo;t know anyone. Why not try to give back on day one?,&rdquo; Ralph said.
