Paint-and-sip franchise <a href="https://paintingwithatwistfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=painting-with-a-twist-acquires-bottle-bottega-2708236" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Painting with a Twist</a> has acquired 20-unit art and wine concept Bottle &amp; Bottega, <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/painting-with-a-twist-blends-with-bottle--bottega-acquisition-marks-diy-art-industrys-first-300733559.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=painting-with-a-twist-acquires-bottle-bottega-2708236" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">the brand announced</a>. The merger, which is the first ever in the DIY art industry, will bolster Painting with a Twist&rsquo;s 300-plus unit presence in 39 states and help the brand pursue its key growth markets of Chicago, Portland, Oregon and&nbsp;northern California. 
 
To ensure a smooth transition through the acquisition, Painting with a Twist has hired Bottle &amp; Bottega co-founder and CEO Nancy Bigley as its new chief operations officer. Bigley has previous franchise industry experience working with Dunkin&#39; Brands, American Leak Detection and The Dwyer Group.
