Painting With a Twist Acquires Bottle & Bottega
The merger brings Bottle & Bottega founder Nancy Bigley on as Painting with a Twist’s new COO
Paint-and-sip franchise Painting with a Twist has acquired 20-unit art and wine concept Bottle & Bottega, the brand announced. The merger, which is the first ever in the DIY art industry, will bolster Painting with a Twist’s 300-plus unit presence in 39 states and help the brand pursue its key growth markets of Chicago, Portland, Oregon and northern California.
To ensure a smooth transition through the acquisition, Painting with a Twist has hired Bottle & Bottega co-founder and CEO Nancy Bigley as its new chief operations officer. Bigley has previous franchise industry experience working with Dunkin' Brands, American Leak Detection and The Dwyer Group.
