QSR Magazine: Penn Station Launches New App and Loyalty Program

The grilled subs franchise’s new mobile app increases transparency for earning rewards and adds some fun new features.

Penn Station East Coast Subs has unveiled a new mobile app. According to a recent article by QSR Magazine, the Cincinnati-based franchise's new online platform includes a photo booth with branded filters for sharing on social media, a messaging and promotions center and functionality to easily save and access past orders. In addition, the updated loyalty program allows customers to earn one “lemon” per dollar they spend. Lemons can then be redeemed for menu items such as grilled sandwiches, hand-cut fries or fresh-squeezed lemonade.

QSR quotes Penn Station President Craig Dunaway as saying, “We are continuing to fine-tune our app by adding new features that customers want. This is the biggest change to the app since we added online ordering, and we’re excited for customers to try it out.”
