According to Peoria Today, <a href="http://www.dairyqueen.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=peoria-today-dairy-queen-plans-for-large-expansion-in-arizona-9322" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Dairy Queen</a> has one opening planned for 2017 in Surprise, AZ, and the brand in focusing on development in Glendale and Peoria as part of a Pheonix area growth plan.

&quot;For this expansion, American <a href="http://dairyqueen.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=peoria-today-dairy-queen-plans-for-large-expansion-in-arizona-9322" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Dairy Queen</a> Corporation is on the lookout for potential independent franchise operators interested in opening a DQ Grill &amp; Chill restaurant, as well as real estate properties in both Peoria and Glendale. These cities are development priorities for the brand as potential franchisees and market availability are evaluated. However plans for the area are still in the development stages,&quot; International Dairy Queen, Inc. Vice President of Franchise Sales and Development Mike Mettler told Peoria Today.

This steady growth that the brand plans to continue in the area presents an exciting opportunity for the Northwest Valley, with each DQ Grill &amp; Chill location bringing 50 to 100 job opportunities in the area.
