The 21-plus-unit doggie daycare franchise signed 21 deals during the year, opening eight stores by the end of 2021.Additionally, the brand is preparing to open another 35 stores in 2022 as the pet boarding industry experiences increased demand following the brand’s 20% increase in system wide occupancy rates.“We knew from experience and talking to friends that there was a big need for quality doggie day care in our community,” said Holly Garland, the franchisee who signed the brand’s 100th territory. “Especially now, with everyone getting back to normal and starting to travel again, we saw people needing to book pet care and struggling to lock down appointments.
