Pizza Hut is About to Expand Beer Delivery to Seven States

Florida, Iowa and Ohio are just three states where the pizza chain will offer beer delivery.

Pizza Hut will offer beer delivery in 300 restaurants in seven states by mid-January, according to a Nation’s Restaurant News report.

The chain has already tested beer delivery in Arizona and California and will expand beer delivery options within those states and roll out beer delivery to Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina and Ohio restaurants, according to the article.

“The rollout is a brand priority with Pizza Hut aiming to grow beer delivery capabilities to 1,000 restaurants across new markets by summer 2019,” the pizza brand said in a statement, according to the article.

The announcement comes just weeks before Super Bowl LIII on Sunday, February 3.

“As the official Pizza Sponsor of the NFL, we’ve been celebrating football fans all season long, so it only makes sense for us to bring more customers the beloved combo of pizza and beer ahead of the Super Bowl,” Pizza Hut chief brand officer Marianne Radley said in a statement, according to the article. “We are proud to be pioneers of beer delivery and are well-poised to take on more markets in the coming year.”
