Pollo Campero Sets Sights on Phoenix Metro Market
Central American chicken staple Pollo Campero hopes to break into an increasing Latina market in Arizona with an anticipated 22 locations opening within the next five years.
As Arizona takes in more Latin American immigrants, the Central American fast-casual chicken chain Pollo Campero hopes to expand throughout the state. In an interview with What Now Phoenix, Pollo Campero’s Director of Franchise Development, Blas Escarcega, explains that the chain could be in Phoenix by the end of 2023.
“We already have legacy customers out of Arizona who tell us that they travel as far as Los Angeles or Las Vegas just to visit Pollo Campero and take it home with them,” said Escarcega.
Escarcega plans on visiting Phoenix to scout locations and meet with potential franchisees. Ultimately, the brand plans to open 22 locations in Arizona within the next five years.
