Kevin Linsley and Steven Kay, owners of&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/poolwerx">Poolwerx</a> Northern Utah, have been recognized on&nbsp;<a href="https://poolpromag.com/30-under-40-linsley-kay-poolwerx-northern-utah/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=poolpro-names-poolwerx-northern-utah-owners-among-top-30-under-40-2724422" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">PoolPro's Top 30 Under 40 list</a>. The pair combined their backgrounds in landscape architecture and horticulture to bring both design and technical expertise to the full-service swimming pool repair, maintenance and retail franchise.&nbsp;After graduating with a degree in landscape architecture, Linsley spent six years in the outdoor design and construction space before starting his own outdoor living company called Valley Design Build. Kay, who has a degree in horticulture, joined the company in 2015, overseeing landscape projects and helping clients transform their outdoor spaces. While the duo worked together, they discovered a gap in the market for comprehensive pool and water feature services.&nbsp;“After we would finish the pools, the clients would ask who would take care of the pool, and we could not give them a good answer,” Kay told PoolPro. “So, we decided to do our market research to see if starting a pool maintenance company was a good plan. After months of research and vetting&nbsp;<a href="https://poolwerxfranchising.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=poolpro-names-poolwerx-northern-utah-owners-among-top-30-under-40-2724422" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Poolwerx</a>, we decided to run with the idea.”Linsley noted that he hopes Poolwerx can support families by offering personal and exceptional service.
