Popeyes Debuts Emotional Support Chicken
As travelers continue to push the boundaries of what qualifies as an emotional support animal, Popeyes launches a humorous food carrier to bring joy to stressed holiday travelers.
Popeyes has unveiled a unique food carrier option for travelers in the Philadelphia International Airport. According to a recent article in QSR Magazine, the brand is offering an ‘Emotional Support Chicken’ with the purchase of a three-piece chicken tenders combo. The chicken shaped container is designed to add humor to otherwise stressful holiday travel.
The offering was inspired by emotional support animals, who offer comfort to travelers. In recent years, people have begun to push the boundaries of what qualifies as an emotional support animal, attempting to bring peacocks, squirrels and more onboard.
