Portillo’s Hires P.F. Chang’s CEO
Michael Osanloo will take over as the Chicago-based chain’s chief executive officer starting October 1.
Chicago-based Portillo’s Hot Dogs LLC has announced the hiring of its new CEO, Michael Osanloo. Osanloo currently serves as the CEO of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. He’ll make the switch on October 1.
As Chicago Tribune points out, Osanloo grew up in the Chicago suburb of Naperville and is a longtime Portillo’s customer.
“I am thrilled to shepherd the brand in its continued evolution in becoming one of America’s top fast casual restaurants,” Osanloo said. “This is almost a dream come true to me.”
Osanloo will replace Keith Kinsey, who is retiring.
