Pizza Hut's new loyalty program will launch in mid-August. According to a recent article in QSR Magazine, the pizza chain will be awarding two points for every dollar spent at their stores. As an added incentive to join the program, the brand will also offer double points on purchases through early October.

The program is unique in the sense that there is no limit on how many points a customer can gain. When an individual reaches 200 points, they can redeem them for any free medium pizza. Similarly, 250 points can be redeemed for any large pie.

“With one transaction, a consumer can earn a free pizza. It doesn’t have to be six like at other places; every dollar counts, ” said Jeff Fox, the chief brand and concept officer.

The rewards program comes as a part of a $130 million transformation effort designed to give Pizza Hut an edge over competitors.
