QSR Magazine reports that Flippin’ Pizza, the Brooklyn-style pizza franchise from San Diego, has announced plans to establish new restaurants in Texas, Georgia, and California. The development plans include 25 new units across the three states, doubling the number of the franchise’s existing units in just a few years.

The growth strategy is designed to strengthen Flippin’ Pizza’s foothold in its most successful markets. The brand also has established territories in 19 other U.S. markets, including territories in Colorado, Arizona, Florida, Oregon, Missouri, and DC.

From the article:

Flippin’ Pizza Marketing Director, Michelle McKee says, “We enter this next decade with confidence and excitement having already developed a cult following within the communities we serve. We look forward to bringing our authentic hand-tossed pies & slices to new locations across the US as we continue to open more locations. To start our second decade off strong and stand out from the growing build-your-own pizza competition, we flipped up our brand, menu, and technology to meet guests’ needs for convenience and customization. We have introduced a clean, fresh brand look and feel both in-store and online, a revamped menu, new websites and mobile ordering app, and have launched our Flippin’ Perks loyalty program. We are excited about our brand evolution and are continuing to enhance the customer experience.”
