QSR: Former NFL Star Marques Colston Teams Up with Main Squeeze Juice Co.

Former New Orleans Saints wide Receiver Marques Colston has signed on to co-own Main Squeeze Juice Co.’s flagship store in New Orleans.

qsr.com is reporting that the Super Bowl XLIV champion and his wife, Emily, will play key roles in the newly franchised brand’s national expansion plans. Main Squeeze moved its corporate headquarters from Lake Charles, Louisiana to New Orleans last year, when the company announced its transition into franchising. There are currently two Main Squeeze locations open, one in Lake Charles and one outside of Houston.

Colston says he was attracted to the brand’s mission of making healthy eating easier through a nutritionist-designed menu of plant-based foods served in fast-casual stores in markets across the country.

“As a former professional athlete, it’s hard to ignore the trend towards healthy living in this country, as well as the growing demand for products and services related to helping people achieve these goals,” said Colston. “Main Squeeze Juice Co. is a franchise that no doubt represents more than just a business opportunity. Emily and I couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with a brand that, through its expansion, is set to change the lives of millions of people that are looking for a healthier and more convenient way of fulfilling their nutritional goals.”
