QSR: Gyroville Plans National Expansion

The Fort Lauderdale-based chain has announced plans to expand throughout the country

Mediterranean-food franchise Gyroville has announced plans to develop a host of new restaurant locations throughout markets across the U.S.

According to an article on qsr.com, the Florida-based franchise is preparing to open up to 30 new restaurants in the next five years, targeting markets including Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas for development.

Nine of Gyroville’s ten existing restaurants are located in Florida and Kansas. The tenth is located in Ecuador.

To facilitate the aggressive development push, the franchise is seeking both multi-unit operators and owner-operators in every target market.

“We're disrupting the fast-casual scene and proving that the build-your-own style concept can be fresh, unique and flavorful,” said Gyroville Founder Lambros Kokkinelis. “We're constantly innovating and showing the versatility of our menu, and both consumers and franchise investors have taken notice. Our franchise has really taken off over the past year and the future is nothing but bright.”
