QSR Magazine: Arby’s to Launch Venison Sandwich Nationwide

After last year's major success, Arby's has decided to bring its Venison Sandwich to more locations across the country this year.

Following its “We have the meats” slogan, Arby’s is announcing a new sandwich nationwide. According to a recent QSR Magazine article, the company will debut its Venison Sandwich on October 21 while supplies last. If the sales look anything like its first launch in Nashville, which sold out in one day, it won’t last long.

“The positive response to our limited offering of venison last year was so widespread and passionate that we knew we had to find a way to offer it nationwide,” said Arby’s CMO Jim Taylor. “On October 21, we want hunters and meat enthusiasts across the country to visit their local Arby’s and enjoy this amazing sandwich. It’s a perfect example of the level of innovation coming from our teams and our commitment to creating experiences that guests can only get at Arby’s.”

The sandwich is made with a thick-cut venison steak with crisped onions and juniper berry sauce on top with a toasted roll. When it was introduced last year, it was only available in certain hunting-heavy areas for the start of the hunting season. Now it will be available to more than 3,200 location for $7 a sandwich.
