Blaze Pizza is receiving some new cash from a leading private equity investment firm. According to a <a href="https://www.qsrmagazine.com/news/blaze-pizza-receives-pe-cash-infusion?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=qsr-magazine-blaze-pizza-receives-pe-cash-infusion-2703331" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">recent QSR Magazine article</a>, Brentwood Associates has announced that it has made a significant non-controlling investment in the brand, which now has 200 locations throughout Canada and the U.S. In addition, Brentwood partners Bill Barnum and Rahul Aggarwal will both be a part of the Board of Directors moving forward.

&ldquo;We are excited to add Brentwood and Dollarhyde to our investor group as they bring leadership, a network of connections and deep restaurant experience that will simply make us stronger and better,&rdquo; said Jim Mizes, CEO of Blaze Pizza.

The fast-casual pizza chain has plans to expand into the Middle East and Northern Africa and is also on pace to make over $1 billion in annual system-wide sales before 2022.
