Dunkin’ Donuts is continuing to find new ways for customers to purchase its products. An article in QSR Magazine notes that the brand is now offering on-the-go mobile ordering through Google Assistant on both iPhone and Android phones. By tapping into this technology, Dunkin’ customers can now order menu items by saying, “Hey Google, talk to Dunkin’ Donuts.”
Dunkin’ Brands’ vice president of digital innovation, Sherrill Kaplan, said, “We are focused on leveraging the most innovative, relevant technologies to make accessing our mobile ordering platform as easy as possible. Our new integration with the Google Assistant is yet another exciting example of our commitment to enhancing speed, convenience and our overall brand experience for our loyal guests.”
To build buzz around this new capability, Dunkin’ Donuts is giving its DD Perks Rewards members extra perks when they use voice ordering this month. With its new No Wait Wednesday promotion, rewards members who place an order using on-the-go- mobile ordering will earn double the points.
