QSR Magazine: Global Brand Paris Baguette Targets Major U.S. Expansion

Paris Baguette is targeting the U.S. for its next area of expansion with SPC Group leading the way.

The small confectionery in Seoul, Korea that opened in 1945 has now become a global brand, and also more recently known as Paris Baguette*. According to a recent QSR Magazine article, the brand now has 3,800 locations and hopes to expand to the U.S. with an aggressive growth plan.

“The interesting thing about the brand is it transcends any group. It’s an Asian-infused French bakery concept. Basically, it’s a French concept with added oomph.”

SPC Group, which also owns Jamba Juice, Baskin Robbins and Shake Shack location in South Korea, will rely on franchising for its expansion plan. Currently, the brand has 58 U.S. locations and hopes to expand to 350 by 2020. Target markets include California and the East Coast starting with New York City area.
