QSR Magazine: This Super Bowl, Pizza Hut Is Offering America a Chance to Win Free Pizza

Members of the brand’s Hut Rewards program will receive a free medium two topping pizza if a touchdown is scored in the first 14 seconds of the game.

Pizza Hut is teaming up with former NFL player Devin Hester to potentially give away free pizza across the country during the Super Bowl, according to QSR Magazine. During the game on Sunday, February 4, the pizza chain has announced that if the record for fastest touchdown in the history of the Super Bowl is broken, it will give away a free medium two-topping pizza to members of its Hut Rewards program. Right now, that record—which is held by Hester—is 14 seconds.

In an interview with QSR Magazine, Hester said, “Like I said in my retirement announcement, I owe it all to my speed. I’m teaming up with Pizza Hut to challenge players in this year’s Big Game to score a touchdown faster than I did in 2007. If they do, and I hope they do, Hut Rewards members will earn free pizza.”

To be eligible for a free pizza, consumers will need to join Pizza Hut’s Hut Rewards program before kickoff. If a touchdown is scored in under 14 seconds during the Super Bowl, the brand will add a free medium two-topping pizza into Hut Rewards member accounts that can then be redeemed between Thursday, February 8 and Sunday, February 11.
