QSR: McDonald's Names The Marketing Store Global Supplier of the Year

The customer engagement agency was awarded the title for their work with the Happy Meal

McDonald’s has awarded The Marketing Store with its Global Supplier of the Year award.

According to an article on qsr.com, the global customer engagement agency was awarded the title at McDonald’s recent Worldwide Convention. Presented by McDonald’s EVP chief supply chain and sustainability officer, Francesca DeBiase, the award recognizes The Marketing Store’s work optimizing toy production infrastructure for the franchise’s iconic Happy Meal line.

McDonald’s and The Marketing Store have been in partnership for more than 30 years, but the supplier only recently took over sole production for Happy Meal toys.

“It’s partners like The Marketing Store who prioritize McDonald’s as a customer and live our supply chain values every single day,” said McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook. “They are great examples of self-managed excellence in action. . . always innovating, helping to offset rising costs and investing in technology for all the benefits of our future. We win together.”
