QSR: Pokéworks Expects to Open 100 New Franchise Locations

The emerging franchise is preparing for large-scale expansion over two years

QSR is reporting that fast-casual brand Pokéworks is planning to open more than 100 new franchise locations in markets across the U.S. over the next two years. The New York-based brand opened their first restaurant just two years ago, and already it has secured contracts for dozens of new locations.

Pokéworks' rapid expansion is due in part to the unique appeal of its concept, an assembly-line fast-casual restaurant serving fresh Hawaiian poké dishes. Consumer enthusiasm for the photogenic menu has helped the brand establish a footprint in some of the most lucrative food markets across the country, including Manhattan, Boston, Houston and Chicago.

From the article:

“Our commitment to providing a healthier alternative to traditional fast food, coupled with the ability to meet demands for a reduced carbon footprint and naturally sustainable food, places us in a prime position for future growth,” says Kevin Hsu, co-founder of Pokéworks. “As our brand continues to develop, we are dedicated to seeking passionate franchise partners to elevate the Pokéworks concept, while providing customers with a fresh take on Hawaiian-inspired poké.”
