Soulman&rsquo;s Bar-B-Que, a BBQ franchise brand with locations throughout North Texas, has created two new executive-level positions. Baylea Wood has been hired as the brand&rsquo;s director of marketing, and Charlie Guajarado has been promoted to Corporate Executive Chef.

In 2017, the franchise reached more than $20 million in sales and more than 6 percent same-store growth over 2016. Now franchise CEO Brett Randle is hoping to leverage that growth by establishing key leadership roles to help expand the brand&rsquo;s presence throughout Texas.

&ldquo;As a team, we have been consistently committed to keeping things authentic and simple,&rdquo; said Randle. &ldquo;Our future growth depends on a daily focus on what makes our restaurants successful: great food, great service and clean environment to enjoy it. Preserving our heritage is vital to us at Soulman&#39;s.&nbsp;We know what we are: a traditional Texas Bar-B-Que house. We do things the traditional way, the right way, and we&rsquo;re resolved to continue that through our growth.&rdquo;
