Baseball Coach Turned REGYMEN Fitness Franchisee Highlights Top 5 Lessons to be Learned from Athletes

Jedd Soto, a former Division 1 athlete and head collegiate baseball coach-turned-area developer for REGYMEN Fitness sat down with Authority Magazine to talk about mental strategies for peak performance while under high pressure, high stress situations. As a former athlete, Soto shared the mental strategies he learned as a competitive baseball player that has helped him be an effective entrepreneur.

“I refuse to let myself be afraid of opportunities, and I always put myself out there,” Soto said. “Self-confidence and a strong belief in my abilities have allowed me to be successful.”

Soto also discussed his 10-unit development deal with REGYMEN Fitness in the Austin, Texas market, with two of those locations opening during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. While many fitness brands have shuttered due to the pandemic, REGYMEN has prioritized its coach-client relationships to keep customers engaged and coming back.

“In both coaching and being an entrepreneur, discipline is extremely important. It’s also about believing in the team you surround yourself with. In order to truly succeed, you need to surround yourself with great people and empower them with opportunities,” Soto said.
