The study has found that more than half of the world’s wild coffee species are in danger of being extinct, according to a Forbes report.

The study found that 60 percent of wild coffee species are at risk, and the endangered coffees include Arabica, which makes for 60 percent of global coffee production, according to the article.

Forbes reported that Ethiopia could be greatly affected by coffee species extinction, as 60 percent of its export income relies on coffee.
