Revamped Google My Business App Unveiled

The update includes a new customer messaging capability and streamlined way to update one’s profile.

The Google My Business app has been updated to further streamline the connection between customers and business. According to a recent article in VentureBeat, the update includes a new customer tab and quick post function. It is currently available for both iOS and Android users.

The customer tab includes the reviews section as well as a place for users to message the business directly. Businesses are able to respond through the app for more efficient communication. The quick post function gives businesses a platform to share promotions and photos directly to their profile.

“When we built the Google My Business app, we wanted to make it easier for small businesses like you to take advantage of that opportunity, and turn those searchers into your customers,” said engineering manager Curtis Galloway.
