Revere Journal: Philly Pretzel Factory Opens First Location in Massachusetts
Revere-local opens the state's first location after falling in love in his native Philadelphia
Revere will have its first Philly Pretzel Factory store in the state of Massachusetts in early-2017.
Robert Gesek is the franchisee of the Squire Road location and is a native of Revere. "I lievd in Philly for 20 years and I love the product so I wanted to bring it back with me to Revere," Gesek told the Revere Journal reporter.
The company has grown over the years and was started because the founder orginially sold pretzels on busy intersections in Philadelphia at the age of 11. Since then, the brand has grown to have existence in 12 states.
"I'm excited to have the first franchise in Massachusetts," Gesek told the reporter. "We can do partly platters, items for the holidays and special shapes such as logos."
