Right at Home*, an in-home caregiving franchise, is targeting the southeast portion of Virginia for franchise expansion. Ripe with growth potential, the brand is eyeing the Hampton Roads region as their next market for development.

On pace to open its 500th location in the coming months, Right at Home is looking to continue its forward momentum in an area that can benefit from their services.

"We're filling up, and so there are very few major metro areas where... somebody can come in and choose the first territory in the area," said Eric Little, the company's chief development officer.

As the company investigates the Hampton Roads area, representatives of Right at Home will perform targeted marketing to help identify prospective franchisees. Little said the average Right at Home office employs between 50 to 100 people, between part- and full-time staff.

According to Little, Right at Home will be a good fit for competitive and driven entrepreneurs who also want to do something that makes a difference in the community.

"One of the things they really get excited about is not only does the business help people in the community, it also creates jobs." Little said.

To Little, Right at Home is the best of two worlds, as it creates jobs and serves communities.

"This kind of business - helping people - it's not a fad," he said.
