With thousands of franchises nationwide significantly contributing to the economy, the model is only on the rise throughout the U.S. While there are plenty of brands across a wide range of industries, a select few offer the same sense of purpose and fulfillment as Right at Home, the in-home care franchise with over 700 locations.

“Success with significance [is where our franchisees realize] in a current role where something is missing,” said Jennifer Chaney, vice president of franchise development. “So they’re looking for fulfillment. They’re looking for something that’s meaningful. They’re looking to do something that matters. With Right at Home, … a lot of our franchise owners experience that on a daily basis. They go home at the end of the day, and they feel good about what they’ve done.”

The in-home care industry is preparing for mass expansion as the “Silver Tsunami” — the large group of Baby Boomers aging and beginning to require additional care — continues to surge, and franchises like Right at Home present a great opportunity for people looking to make a change to break into entrepreneurship with a business that is truly meaningful.

“For me, success with significance means having an opportunity to make a difference but also build a business that allows an individual to create a great legacy in terms of being able to serve others in a very meaningful way,” said CEO Margaret Haynes.

In addition to the fulfillment franchisees feel in their businesses day in and day out, Right at Home has the history and support necessary to back up its strength as an opportunity. The franchise is consistently recognized for its growth, recession resistance, profitability, and the opportunities it offers veterans.

“Right at Home was clearly the right choice for me,” said Renée Concialdi, a franchisee in California. “I went through a process where I was evaluating three different industries, three different businesses, and the professionalism of Right at Home stood out to me immediately. The coaching staff have a pretty marked impact on our business. They are coaches, and they support us in the system by coaching in a variety of ways.”

As it looks toward the future, Right at Home aims to continue growing with passionate owners who will represent the brand and its mission well.

“I’m incredibly excited about the future of Right at Home,” Chaney said. “As the aging population is going to continue to grow even more, I feel like we’ve just scratched the surface.”
