OMAHA, Neb. — After a year of growth in 2025, Right at Home, the leading in-home care franchise with more than 750 locations, awarded 10 new franchise territories during the first half of the year while continuing to invest in artificial intelligence, franchisee support, and operational innovation. The in-home care franchise also completed eight resale transactions during the first six months of 2026, keeping the brand on pace to achieve its goal of awarding 24 new territories by year-end. That growth was also reflected in the brand's national recognition, as Right at Home climbed 73 spots in Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 to No. 145 overall while earning the No. 2 ranking in the senior care category.
“We feel good about the first half of the year,” said Jen Chaney, Senior Vice President of Franchise Development and Sales. “People are still coming to us with serious interest in the franchise, and we’ve had plenty of conversations underway. That’s put us in a good position for the rest of 2026.”
The technology investments Right at Home began last year have continued into 2026, with artificial intelligence now playing a larger role across the business. A growing internal AI team is working with franchise owners on ways to streamline operations while preserving the personal care at the center of the brand.
"I think if we rewound to a year ago, AI was something people were just beginning to explore," Chaney said. "Today it's become part of our day-to-day operations. We're focused on helping franchise owners understand the best and most efficient ways to use AI to run stronger businesses."
The company also introduced a major enhancement to its Right Focus dashboard, giving franchise owners deeper business insights and making it easier for multi-territory operators to monitor key performance indicators across all of their locations from a single platform.
One of the biggest milestones of the first half of the year was Right at Home's annual franchise conference, where franchise owners, key office staff, and corporate leadership gathered to collaborate and prepare for the future. The conference is designed for both franchise owners and their office teams, with sessions focused on the day-to-day responsibilities of each group.
"The content is built directly from franchisee feedback," Chaney said. "We want to make the most of the time everyone is together, so every session is designed around what our owners and their teams are asking for."
As the year continues, Right at Home remains focused on expanding into communities where quality senior care is in high demand, with Ohio and Wisconsin serving as two priority development markets. The franchise’s greatest priority is finding owners who are aligned with Right at Home's mission of improving the quality of life for seniors and adults with disabilities.
"Whether you're ready to leave a corporate career or you're simply looking to become an entrepreneur, we're looking for people who want to make a difference,” Chaney said. “Improving the quality of life for those we serve is our mission, so it's important that every new franchise owner shares those values.”
