Right at Home, the international in-home senior care franchise with 26 years of experience, 50,000 caregivers and more than 650 locations worldwide, is forging a new path in senior care as it continues on its brand’s mission “to be the navigator of the aging process.” On a mission to bolster the brand’s mission, Right at Home is looking to fill all of its 350-plus available territories in the U.S. in 2022.

Jen Chaney, vice president of franchise development at Right at Home explained that the brand doesn’t specifically target just one area or region; rather, because the brand is backed by 26 years of success and is rapidly growing with franchisees in all areas, Right at Home encourages any potential franchisee to inquire about a region of choice and see if it’s available.

“We have markets and coverage all over the United States. There aren’t any major holes in our network; market coverage is fantastic,” explained Chaney. “However, we still have more than 350 lucrative territories available all over the United States. So anybody who's reading this: I encourage you to inquire just to see if you've got a specific market that you're wanting to franchise. Contact us and let us know. We will do the research, and if that specific market isn't available — we will help you find a market nearby that is.”

Chaney goes on to say while all of the brand’s markets are thriving, Southeastern states tend to be the most popular, with many retirement-age individuals opting for warmer climates and laid-back lifestyles.

“Looking at our success over just the past couple of years, Florida is the state where we've seen the most activity,” said Chaney. “We've sold a lot of territories there, and there have been a lot of resale opportunities in Florida. Yet we still have a lot of territories we'd love to sell in the state of Florida. Florida has been very high on our list for activity.”

In 2020 and 2021, Right at Home not only survived the pandemic but came out stronger than ever, exceeding growth goals by 40%. Given that momentum, Chaney is reasonably “incredibly excited for 2022,” she said.

“We had a record number of new franchise owners joining the system last year, and we haven't seen growth like this since 2016,” stated Chaney. “It's been an awesome year for Right at Home as far as growth, planting new flags, welcoming new franchisees into our system, and watching existing franchisees expand.”

Chaney says the franchise is preparing to launch revitalized marketing campaigns to get the word out about the Right at Home opportunity. Additionally, the brand’s referral program has inspired a major lift in new franchise inquiries.

“Our referral program has been a huge source of new franchisees. We had several existing franchise owners refer friends and family for franchise ownership in 2021,” said Chaney. “We do expect to see a lot of that in 2022 as well, which I think speaks volumes about our brand and our franchise owners.”
