Wheeler most recently worked as the chief development officer for Focus Brands, which owns brands such as Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba Juice and Schlotzsky&rsquo;s. His responsibilities at Salata Salad Kitchen will include developing new markets, according to the article. 

&ldquo;David&rsquo;s drive and proven track record make him the perfect person for the role,&rdquo; Salata Salad Kitchen president Michelle Bythewood said in a statement, according to the article. &ldquo;His franchise sales and development expertise is invaluable to our team and our business.&rdquo;
