Sarasota Herald-Tribune: Farm Stores Takes Fresh Approach to Franchise Growth

The drive thru grocery concept is revamping its Sarasota location and opening new units in the greater Tampa Bay area.

Farm Stores, the drive thru grocery, bakery, and quick-service restaurant known for its iconic cow logo, turns 60 next year. But the company is taking a fresh approach to growth in the greater Tampa Bay area under new leadership.
 
According to a recent article in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Farm Stores is planning to renovate their Webber Street location in Sarasota which has been open since the 1960's. They are also planning to open as many as four locations in the city over the next two years.
 
“We have a lot of confidence in the Sarasota market, and we’re under-serving it for sure,” Maurice Bared, COO of Farm Stores, told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
 
Farm Stores is planning to open 50 more locations across the greater Tampa Bay area in the next decade.
