ATLANTA — ServiceMaster Restore, a leading name in the disaster restoration industry, is charging into the second half of 2025 with record-breaking momentum. As of June, the brand has opened 17 new franchise locations, signed 11 new deals — including eight expansions by existing owners — and welcomed three new franchisees, one of which joined through a business conversion in Modesto, California.
“Everything we’re doing right now is about purpose and progress,” said John Tovar, president of ServiceMaster Restore. “Our franchisees are growing, our impact is expanding and our commitment to supporting veterans and communities in crisis has never been stronger.”
With extreme weather events increasing in frequency and severity, ServiceMaster Restore’s essential services are more in demand than ever. The brand’s success in 2025 reflects its resilience and strength in times of uncertainty. Existing owners continue to scale, while new franchisees are joining a trusted network with strong support systems and powerful growth potential.
One standout addition this year includes a construction business in California that converted to a ServiceMaster Restore franchise to expand its service offerings and grow the Modesto market.
“Our model is built for growth and for lasting impact,” Tovar said. “We’re seeing that firsthand as entrepreneurs from different backgrounds find opportunity within our system, whether they’re converting an existing business or stepping into the space for the first time.”
While franchise development continues to thrive, 2025 has also marked a major milestone for the brand’s philanthropic efforts. Through its We Serve: Veterans initiative, ServiceMaster Restore and its franchise network have now raised over $500,000 for Hire Heroes USA, a nonprofit that helps military veterans and spouses transition into civilian careers. That achievement earned the brand recognition as Hire Heroes USA’s 2025 Partner of the Year.
“We needed a cause that could unite our entire system, and we found it in Hire Heroes,” Tovar said. “Their mission to serve veterans directly reflects our values, and it’s been incredible to see our franchisees embrace this work with such heart and dedication.”
So far in 2025, ServiceMaster Restore has hosted multiple high-impact events to support the initiative, including a national golf tournament at TPC San Antonio that raised more than $180,000 through player registration, sponsorships and donations. In addition to the national efforts, 16 locally led events across the franchise network brought in another $104,000 last year alone, and more are planned for the back half of 2025.
Beyond fundraising, ServiceMaster Restore is also providing franchisees with direct access to veteran hiring boards, event planning toolkits and other recruitment support to help place veterans in meaningful roles throughout the network.
As ServiceMaster Restore builds on 65-plus years of trusted service, its mission remains clear: to serve communities, empower entrepreneurs and create lasting change. With available territories across the U.S. — from Maine to Maui — the second half of 2025 is shaping up to be another period of high-impact growth for the brand.
