Shoney’s Franchise Opportunities Expand to North Carolina

Shoney’s Restaurants is now offering franchise opportunities in the state of North Carolina, according to a press release.

The casual dining chain is located primarily throughout the South and the Midwest. A new restaurant is scheduled to open in the fall in Waynesville, North Carolina, and the chain plans to open new restaurants in “strategic areas” in the state, according to the press release.

"Over the past 70 years, many of our franchisees have opened restaurants, created jobs, boosted the local economy, and have done some remarkable things for their state as a whole," Shoney’s chairman and CEO David Davoudpour said in the press release. "We are looking to do the same exact thing in North Carolina."
