SJR: A La Carte: Toppers Pizza planning three Springfield franchise locations

The Springfield, Ill. market is a priority for Toppers Pizza*, with three locations set to open up in Springfield in the coming months, according to The State Journal-Register.

"We're looking at real estate in Springfield and franchisees," Toppers Pizza's vice president of marketing Scott Iversen told the SJR. "We expect to have located both in a couple months."

The chain has doubled in size over the past three years, with 70 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska and beyond. The brand is doubling down on Illinois and Iowa in 2015.
