The NBA recently announced that it was moving the All-Star game in 2017 from North Carolina to New Orleans, meaning the game will now be played at the Smoothie King Center. And while naming rights deals are not always a slam dunk for brands, Smoothie King is seeing a big boost.
In a recent article in Forbes, CEO and Owner Wan Kim discussed the Smoothie King Center naming rights deal and the doors it has opened for the brand in the business community.
“So many people outside the U.S. are watching the [All-Star] game. It is a great opportunity for us branding wise,” Kim told Forbes.
Smoothie King continues to expand both in the U.S. and internationally, with a Dubai location opening in late August.
