Gordon Logan, Founder and CEO behind the <a href="http://www.sportclipsfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=sport-clips-founder-and-ceo-gordon-logan-appears-on-the-cover-of-franchising-world-2706840" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">nation&rsquo;s leading men&rsquo;s and boy&rsquo;s hair care franchise Sport Clips</a>, is featured on the cover of the June 2018 issue of Franchising World. The issue is dedicated to veterans, and Logan offers insight as to how franchisors can put heroes first. 

Sport Clips has a long history of helping veterans become business owners following their military service. That&rsquo;s why in his cover story, Logan elaborates on what he&rsquo;s learned through those experiences. He starts by explaining that a good place for franchisors interested in helping veterans to start is establishing a set outreach program to attract veterans as franchisees. From there, brands can establish philanthropic efforts and give back campaigns that are also designed to boost the number of veteran franchisees within a system. 

At the end of the day, Logan says that truly being able to make an impact in veterans&rsquo; lives comes down to more than simply signing them on as franchisees. He noted, &ldquo;Introducing more veterans to franchising is just one part of the equation. The second part is finding ways to serve our military and veteran communities through engagement and selective philanthropy; there are thousands of veterans&rsquo; charities, and some are much more cost-efficient and effective than others. Together, they equal a stronger future for our service members, and the franchise community as a whole.&rdquo;
