Starbucks Launches Ready-to-Drink Iced Latte

Starbucks expands its ready-to-drink category with new iced latte.

Starbucks launched the Caffè Latte in 1984, back when Americans were unfamiliar with the drink, and soon it became a fan favorite. Now the brand is introducing a new way to drink and enjoy the beverage to customers with its ready-to-drink Starbucks Iced Latte, according to a recent QSR Magazine article. For a limited time, the Salted Caramel Mocha single-serve ready-to-drink iced latte will be available to consumers.

Starbucks' ready-to-drink category has grown to be more than $2 billion in retail with its North American Coffee Partnership with PepsiCo that started more than 20 years ago. The bottled Frappuccino has seen a lot of success over the years as a chilled coffee drink for consumers on-the-go.

Coffee lovers can also enjoy the Caffè Latte at home with K-Cup pods, Starbucks VIA Instant and Caffè Latte Verismo pods.
