Starbucks Offers Delivery to 1,100 Stores in China

The brand plans to continue this strong growth trajectory with the help of food delivery service, Ele.Me.

Starbucks has officially expanded delivery services to reach 1,100 stores across China. According to a recent article in QSR Magazine, this expansion occurred over a two month period and covers 17 cities. It was made possible through a partnership with food delivery service, Ele.Me. The delivery option helps Starbucks remain a leader in the coffee segment across China.

“Our market-leading scale and the positive customer trial and adoption we have seen in the first two months of operations have given us even greater confidence that we will successfully bring this exceptional delivery experience to more than 2,000 stores across 30 cities by the end of year. And we will do this with the deep respect for coffee, relentless pursuit for excellence and agility that only Starbucks can in China,” said Starbucks China CEO, Belinda Wong.
