Today Facebook announced it will be bringing more transparency to Facebook pages. <a href="https://techcrunch.com/2018/06/28/facebook-ad-transparency/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=techcrunch-facebook-will-allow-you-to-see-the-active-ads-from-any-page-2706992" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">According to TechCrunch</a>, users will now be able to view all active ads currently running and flag any ads that violate Facebook&#39;s ad policies. In addition, the social sharing site is taking extra time reviewing political ads which delays the ads going live on the site.&nbsp;

COO Sheryl Sandberg said she doesn&#39;t expect the additional ad transparency to affect ad spend on Facebook.&nbsp;&ldquo;I think advertisers for the most part stand behind the ads they&rsquo;re running,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;You actually can see a lot of your competitors&rsquo; ads [already], you just have to catch them.&rdquo;

Sandberg&nbsp;acknowledged that these are the first steps to becoming a&nbsp;more&nbsp;transparent platform.&nbsp;
