Today,&nbsp;<a href="https://techcrunch.com/2018/07/10/postmates-adds-another-100-cities-in-the-us/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=techcrunch-postmates-adds-another-100-cities-in-the-us-bringing-total-to-385-2707104" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TechCrunch&nbsp;announced</a>&nbsp;Postmates&nbsp;will be expanding to over 100 new cities, bringing its presence to a total of 385 cities in the U.S. and Mexico. The expansion will allow the delivery service to reach nearly 50 percent of all U.S. households. Part of the expansion includes&nbsp;Chipotle adding 300 new locations to the app.&nbsp;

&ldquo;Chipotle is one of the most popular merchants on the&nbsp;Postmates&nbsp;platform. We are thrilled to grow this relationship, drive down the cost to our shared customers and increase our reliability together,&rdquo; said Dan&nbsp;Mosher,&nbsp;SVP&nbsp;&amp; Merchant Lead,&nbsp;Postmates, in a statement.&nbsp;&ldquo;We&rsquo;ve already delivered over 1 million of their burritos and 2 million of their burrito bowls to our customers and we will continue to ensure that their food is delivered just the way our customers want it.&rdquo;

It was rumored that third-party delivery partners like&nbsp;Postmates&nbsp;and Grub Hub would merge to compete with giants like Amazon and&nbsp;Uber, but many are focusing on individual expansion to drive sales.&nbsp;
